Sunrise Beach House, Bouka, Lefkimmi
The ultimate beach villa - the garden path leads straight onto a sandy beach with shallow, calm sea. There is also a swimming pool in the garden.
With just two other houses in the area, the beach is practically deserted even in August. You can enjoy a private section of beach for relaxing and sunbathing and go straight from there into the sea.
This area is largely undiscovered, and even many Corfiots have never heard of 'our beach' although it is one of the best on the island. There are few properties along the beach, just a taverna at the north end (about 5 minutes’ walk from the villa) and a few other villas. Lefkimmi is a small town with traditional houses and a relaxed atmosphere. There are several good tavernas and coffee shops/bars along the riverside but no active nightlife.
Entry to the house is up 10 steps, into the spacious open plan living and dining area, with a partly separate fully equipped kitchen. Huge glass doors lead from the living area onto the wide veranda to the covered outside seating and dining area, and steps leading down into the garden, onto the pool terrace. Views from the main veranda stretch across to the mountains on the Greek mainland. The spacious pool terrace has a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and dining area with gas barbecue.
